Medicine Hat’s hot air balloon festival 2025, in photos

The 2025 edition of the Rise Up Hot Air Balloon Festival took to the sky above Medicine Hat from May 22 to 25.

Thousands of people watched from their homes, various launch locations and across the city as over two dozen balloons took flight.

While there were a few cancellations due to unsafe weather conditions, every launch scheduled for the weekend went ahead — albeit with only a few balloons on Saturday evening.
